The subject of the project was to demonstrate the capabilities of NEDAPS system integration with client’s CPE’s (Customer Premises Equipment) using a TR-069 protocol. The client was looking for an end modems autoconfiguration tool.
The telecommunications Operator has an organizational unit responsible for maintaining the network. Also, this department manually configured L2VPN and L3VPN business services.
E-LAN and E-LINE are different types of connections and belong to services provided by Carrier Ethernet. We will not go into details here, but in short, both connections can make it easier to connect different customer locations even physically distant from each other.
The aim of the project was to reduce Operator’s OPEX cost by disabling optical ports on DSLAM/IPDSLAM access devices not having assigned services. The Operator provide services to thousands of customers. Reduction of energy costs is one of the priorities of the customer’s ecological activities.
The goal of the task was to provide a solution which would delegate permission to restart ports in network devices located in individual production departments of the customer to local administrative cells in those branches. This functionality enabled to relieve the central administration of the client's network.
The subject of the project was to create a graphic representation of the operator’s network put on the map of Poland. Requirement was to intuitively present selected data collected from devices and physical parameters between the objects.
The target of the project was integration of NEDAPS with U2000 and BSS class systems used by the client. U2000 system made by Huawei, manages GPON network devices. The project involved setting up a fully automatic process, which allowed to configure client stations in the network according to orders generated from the customer’s CRM system.
